Zach From G-Town
Here is my latest custom, I am very proud of the way this came out. It is a 8520T that I first widden out to a 120" spacing, next I made the ladder swing out at 45 degree angle over the track like the real ones do. I added moores front weights to front of the tractor, I also used Moore's hand rails, 3pt, GPS and flasher bar. I made a tool box, worklights, radio antenna, and ladder supports. I detail painted all the lights, flashers, and reflectors. I also cut out the John Deere logo on the front of the hood of a 8420 and added that to the front, as the 8520 does not come with one on the front. If you have any questions about my custom feel free to ask or email at adams_zach@hotmail.com
Here is a 8520T that Zac customized teamed up with a 1860 drill built by . The drill has working hydraulics, warning lights, diamond tread wheels that also swivel in the front like the real ones.
This is my latest custom, a JD
1770 24 row planter. I spent about a month working on this and am pretty happy
with the way it turned out. I made this all out of brass and 2 Ertl 12 row
planters. When I made this I wanted it to have markers just like the real ones.
I added a vacumeter system, markers, flashers, tail lights, SMV sign, tandem
walk over wheels, jack stand, decals, I detailed painted every row unit to look
as detailed as possible. If you notice in one of my close up pictures I made a
telescoping hitch just like the real ones that contracts when it is un folded
and pulls out when you fold it for transport. This took some monkeying around to
get it to all fold up in unison. I have this teamed up with a wide track 8520T I
built.
