Home Up White Spirit Of Oliver White American Series

White American Series

In 1989 White introduced the White American 60 and 80 series tractors. These 60 hp and 80 hp tractors celebrated the heritage of the brands that formed White.  In 1975 the White Motor Company decided to unify its tractor brands under the name White and the color silver.  Previously White had maintained the Oliver, Minneapolis-Moline and Cockshutt brands by producing common platform tractors and combines with different options and line colors.  White produced the American Series tractors in the Corporate silver, Oliver green, Minneapolis-Moline gold and Cockshutt red.  These tractors celebrated the heritage of White Tractors.  The green, gold and red tractors were a $500 option.  Scale Models produced specially boxed 1/16 scale 1st edition  4 piece set of the 60 and 80 series for White Dealers. The 1/16 2wd ROPS 60 series and  fwa Cab 80 series were also available as regular edition models in individual boxes. Ertl produced the 1/64 versions on blister cards and in 4 piece sets.
