Tony Black
Tony Black's 1/16 scale 4320 John Deere is an exact replica of the real one that his father used to own. Much was done to the toy, which started out as an Ertl 4010 40th Anniversary model. The hood was lengthened and widened, the sides of the tractor (engine, grill, fuel tank) were made larger, and the frame was lengthened. The tractor was cut in half right behind the side grilles, and the engine was removed. There are over 30 pieces in the engine. Lots of Bondo for the hood was used, and much more.
Here is a comparison of the 4320 and the 4020. Most customizers simply put 4320 decals on the smaller tractor, but this shows the difference between the two. New 09/12/02
