Steve Herrmann



Steve Herman started collecting toys in 1985. In 1988, He started setting up his first display.  The pictures below are of the third display Steve has built.
Picture #1 depicts putting up hay and it rained on

 this cutting.
Picture #2 shows feeding cattle

 high moisture corn.  Steve uses ground mustard seed for the corn.

 allows us to see the farm house on the 2000 farm with the 2 hog

 finishing units and the Red barn on the 1960's farm. 
Picture #4  shows a small rural town and John Deere dealer and a small construction company in the gray and red shed.
Picture #5 Steve uses low voltage lights throughout the display.  Here we are drying corm at night and loading in a semi to deliver  to the local elevator

 

 

 

 

 

Picture #6 This is real dirt and the corn is made from painted door

 mats. Irrigation is made from brass.
Picture #7  Local elevator-notice trucks and wagons lined up to dump.
Picture #8  2000  farm grain bin set up. Leg is made out of brass.  The farm is hauling manure in the spreader.
Picture # 9 Grain bin area-notice the detail wheels, bins, farmers scooping up grain by the semi, gas and diesel tanks

in the pickup, unloading auger in grain bins, LP tank, cooper wire to represent gas line, John Deere tractor with belly mower-behind the pickup on the ground  is a  log chain.
Picture # 10 1960 farm.  We had beef cattle, dairy cows and hogs on this farm in the 1960's.
