The Spirit of ' 76

The Agri-King 1570 was introduced in 1976 at 180 horsepower. The Spirit of
' 76 model with stars and stripes could be ordered from the factory for a
limited time to celebrate the bicentennial. The1570 had all of the same features as a 1370, but it had a larger turbocharged power plant to crank out 180 hp.  The rear axle was increased to 3 7/8 inches from the 1370's 3 1/2 inch axle. Today the toy model of The Spirit
of ' 76 sells for around $295 new in the box, and many 1570's are still
going strong in the field. There has never been a 1/64 scale Spirit of 76' offered from Ertl.
