Soenke Morbach

I started out as a model collector. Since 1996 I do conversions and if there is no model available, I'll try to build it myself. As usual in Europe I use scale 1:32. The material I work with is mainly metal (for all strong connections) and plastic for the body moldings (it is easier to work with!!) Since 1999 I have displayed my models on farm toy shows and last year I organized, together with Thomas Cassel from Schoeppenstedt, the first North-German-Farm-Toy-Show. In my main business I'm far away from farming, tractors and technic - I'm a professional opera and concert singer, but beside I do some model work to relax and I do consulting for farm equipment companies, which are looking for a partner to make models of their products.

This plough,  the Kuhn 15, made the world record in 1998 with 180,36 ha in 24 hours. Base for the model was a SIKU plough.  The new world record plough, produced by Gregoire-Besson is coming up next.

This model shows the ROPA Euromaus, a special machine to load sugarbeet from the on-field-storage on the trailer or truck. The model was produced for the Agritechnica 2002 and was displayed in the ROPA show room

The Deutz PowerPress 120H was the only self propelled big baler ever produced. The model is self done completely.
