it such a success. Many Thanks to Jeff Moore for chatting with the
collectors on TTS. jeff moores farm toys: Hello. J.Hasert: Hi Jeff. Thank you for coming tonight. This your third chat with us. jeff
moores farm toys: Thank
you for inviting us. jeff moores farm toys: Looks like it. J.Hasert question #1 was asked most often. When will your 1/64 16ft silage blade be ready? jeff moores farm toys: Yes it sure has been around here also.: We are hoping to have by end this month.. J.Hasert Good
news. I will put it in the TTS News when it is ready. J.Hasert Several
people asked if you will look at 24 row planters as a future project? J.Hasert: The toy Kinze rumor is 3 years old. Always this year and then nothing. jeff moores farm toys: Yes but I think it's coming soon? jeff
moores farm toys: At
least from last source we had. J.Hasert In
your first TTS chat you mentioned a removable dual kit. How is that project
going? jeff moores farm toys: We have redesigned the rims, but haven't started milling them out yet. So it will be some time yet before we have them ready. J.Hasert: Have you thought of building a John Deere 148 or 158 loader: for the new 4000 set that was just released. jeff moores farm toys: Yes
we have thought of Quick Tach Loaders.
But we haven't done anything yet, maybe down the road? J.Hasert: Can a generic one be made like Farmhand. Or just red/green/blue/orange/black. jeff
moores farm toys: We
have been playing around with different attachments for the Ertl loaders. J.Hasert
With all the
big 4wd toys out people are always asking for scrapper pans on TTS Toy Talk. Has
Moore's looked at a project like that? jeff
moores farm toys: Yes
if the Manufacturer is willing to invest some tooling cost.. jeff moores farm toys: Wish we could!! J.Hasert Do you plan on casting more implements like your rear blade and box blade?: Maybe a 6' mower, disk,etc... available in different colors. jeff moores farm toys: Yes we hope to show prototype of a few at St. Louis. J.Hasert That
sounds interesting Jeff. jeff moores farm toys: We have been working on a front mounted disc mower pattern . And also want to do rear one.. J.Hasert: Are there any thoughts on making a farm accessory set with such as jeff moores farm toys: Sorry no we haven't.. jeff moores farm toys: V-Rakes is at the top of our list to get finished at the moment.. jeff moores farm toys: L&G tractor is a great thought.. jeff moores farm toys: I am surprised Ertl hasn't done one!! J.Hasert:: A 1/64 L&G tractor is a top request on toy talk. J.Hasert: Is there any way to make generic side shields and fenders to do a orchard style tractor for all brands? jeff moores farm toys: That may be something we should think about?: Possibly? Most anything can be done with time and Money. J.Hasert:Have you thought about making drop boxes and hi crop front axles, so customizers could build hi crop and/or mudder tractors. jeff moores farm toys: Yes. J.Hasert Have you considered making a snow plow for larger 1/64 trucks such as Ertl IH series or Ford F-750? jeff moores farm toys: Yes
, It and a pickup 8' salt spreader is in the works. J.Hasert: People really like the Field Cultivator you made for Larry Buhler. Will you sell the shanks as separate tillage parts in the future. jeff moores farm toys: Thank
you It's a great Collector's Piece! jeff moores farm toys: Yes we already have redone shank pattern so they will fit 3/32 square stock. They will be available later this summer. J.Hasert Would you look a making a generic smoothing tine bar for the rear of field. It is odd no one has put this on an field cultivator yet but most real ones have them. jeff moores farm toys: Haven't
thought about it, I will check with Larry and see. jeff moores farm toys: There's no end of item's we can do, but it has to be profitable for us to do! The 1254 Row Gator and CaseIH SPX 4260 sprayer a nice 1/64 toys But their plastic ones will not unfold straight. Once they are open the booms bow back inward. Could you make metal booms. jeff moores farm toys: No they would be hard to do in Zinc.: We thought about booms, but we haven't tried. Again also, I don't think we could sell enuogh them.. J.Hasert Will
your hill side combines be available in all brands or just certain ones? jeff moores farm toys: Just
the following to start. CIH 21-2300 series, And JD 9000 series.. Including the
9750 sts.
Cat will be a while yet, we have to finish the feeder housing assembly yet. jeff moores farm toys: The
price is do to the very low number of kits we can sell. jeff moores farm toys:
If we sell more than 1000 , then we do better on the price..
jeff moores farm toys: I'm having that trouble now with the 16' blade. J.Hasert Now that you have a 9400 detail kit would you make a 7000/8000 series. jeff moores farm toys: We are thinking about a kit for the 2WD and FWA tractors. jeff moores farm toys: Maybe a general one for all them, with a few different style railings and such. J.Hasert: Thank you for answering the e-mail questions. Now it is your to ask the questions. jeff moores farm toys: 1st What size pull type V rake would everyone prefer? Tracy_4269: What about a Kuhn rotaray rake about 28ft SoCalDeere: 8
wheel. jeff moores farm toys: We are looking at tedders and have taken some pictures and measurements on them. PA Farmboy: are you going to cast the rake wheels in metal, or use the Hubley ones. Jon S.: Most
people use an 8 wheel rake around here. jeff moores farm toys: Yes we want to make 8 wheel 3pt. hitch and pull type also. SoCalDeere:
Jeff there are allot of the big hay operations out here in Ca and Az.
They: seem
to be going towards combing two windrows in to one. Tracy_4269: We want to cover 2 wind rows (30ft) for SP harvester.: Into ten wheel trucks jeff moores farm toys: Yes
very popular around here too. jeff moores farm toys: What
size of toolbars, 3pt. or pull type would you prefer? racinfarmer: Pull-type J.Hasert: I would like a pull type. Tracy_4269: Pull or a small 3-pt DustyK: Pull type jeff moores farm toys: Baffin I missed your question?? SoCalDeere: Unless ERTL starts adding 3 points to they models I would say pull type. Saves us from having to convert every new tractor we get to 3 point. baffin: TNTs cotton equipment that was on the board last week, what did you think? jeff moores farm toys: It looks Great! SoCalDeere: TNT's equipment looked very good. baffin: Is there a possibility you could do something like it? baffin: Is there a possibility you could do something like it? jeff moores farm toys No plans at this time. Jon S.: Anything new you can tell us about. It sounds like you have a long list. jeff moores farm toys: Jon S Yes like yours and a lot of others, wish we could do them ALL ! STX440Fargo: A hard hose irrigation traveler would be nice SoCalDeere: We need It Stew Padasso: I think some needs to be built PA Farmboy: Never seen it before, I would not have a use for it, western guys will love it. jeff moores farm toys: What would you pay for a three section unit? J.Hasert: Irrigation
equipment would be an interesting new item. racinfarmer: I would pay enough. Jon S.: not many people irrigate around my area in Central Iowa. jeff moores farm toys: Thanks
for you thoughts and suggestions. jeff moores farm toys:
I wish we could do everyone's , but we have to do what we think will sell the
best.. Stew Padasso: I
think Grain and dirt dump boxes would sell. jeff moores farm toys: Stew
