JD 4250/loader
Added features include custom front assist tires and rims, front fenders,
fuel/radiator caps, 18.4-42 Firestone rear tires, extended axle, dual hydraulic
outlets, PTO/drawbar, 3 point, and cab lights and mirrors. In the cab interior
are the hydraulic and 3 point levers, Powershift lever, throttle, PTO, and
joystick control for the loader. Hand-made parts include handrails, steps, MFWD
drive shaft, and loader control valve with hoses. The tractor has a new style JD
loader, which includes hydraulic lines and hoses extending to each cylinder. To
finish, proper color scheme with black paint on engine details, under rear
fenders, and cab interior areas was added.
JD 4450 w/loader
Added features include steerable front end with custom front assist rims with
Firestone tires, front fenders, fuel/radiator caps, 18.4-42 Firestone rear tires
with heavy offset rims/extended axle, triple hydraulic outlets, PTO/drawbar, 3
point with quick hitch, and cab lights and mirrors. Cab details include 3
hydraulic levers, 3 point, Powershift, throttle, and PTO levers. Hand-made parts
include handrails and MFWD drive shaft. The steps are from the JD 60 series by
request of the customer. This tractor has a JD 280 loader, in which the new
style Ertl loader was used and modified by adding the proper decals, hydraulic
lines and hoses extending to each cylinder, then to the rear of the tractor to
each outlet. The late style grapple fork was scratch built from brass stock.
Black paint was applied on certain engine details, under rear fenders, and
correct cab interior areas as well.
