John Proeschel

My Dad bought a new 560 in 1962, so I grew up on one. We wore it out literally, making hay and was the prime tractor on a dairy for years. I have always loved that tractor. Five years ago I bought the wide front in the picture, good tractor, straight metal, made the engine strong. I built the mini 560 this past winter.
My son and I probably spent 300hrs on the mini IH. The little 560 was constructed from Cub Cadet parts, real 560 parts, and a few 806 pieces.
The mini 560 is powered by an 8hp
Kohler power connected to a  2 range 3-speed transmission.
It has a live hydraulic 3-point hitch and rear remotes. The mini 560 has the same configuration as real tractor with a horn, lighter, dual beam front and rear lights,. frame toolbox and the built in toolbox under the seat. This model has 7.60x18 rear tires 4.00x8 fronts.
John debuted his mini 560 at the Cub Cadet field plowing Day, March 31 in Roanoke, IL.
