All new for 2003 is John Deere's 7000 series self-propelled forage harvesters. These new mega choppers are built to fit any size operation from the family dairy farm to the custom operator.  The 7000 series are built to chew up hay and corn by the ton. John Deere has taking a large step in harvesting capacity with the top two 7000 models. The new 7700 and 7800 choppers are the largest forage harvesters from John Deere to date. They will certainly give there competition a run for their money. Below are the specs. for the new 7000 series.  

7200 - 315hp JD 8.1L Engine
7300 - 415hp JD 12.5L Engine
7400 - 500hp "
7500 - 570hp "

Limited Availability (in 2003) High-capacity Models:

7700 - 570hp JD 12.5L Engine
7800 - 640hp Cummins QSX-15 Engine
