Jason Weaver and myself visited Joe Trout's very impressive John Deere collection on June 9th.  Joe's love of John Deere equipment comes from growing up on a farm.  His father's prize tractor was a late 1960's John Deere 3020.  Joe started customizing tractors when he purchased a 1/16 3020 to look like his dad's. Since that 3020 Joe has acquired almost every John Deere Toy available.  He has an impressive collection including every Yoder, two Trumm 4wds, all of the Scale Models 1/8 JD's, all the Ertl Precisions, several Nolt's and many shelf Ertls.  Joe's collection moves from the 1/16 Froeliech to the all new Precision 9420T. It is an excellent collection showing John Deere History from start to modern times.  Joe customizes almost every piece by adding paint detail, body parts and cab detail with lights and mirrors.  It is a very complete and through collection in its own special room complete with work bench.  Jason and I enjoyed our visit very much.
