886
The 886 tractor was perfect for the farmer who was looking for mid-sized power for a variety of duties. The 85 hp was powered by a naturally aspirated IH diesel engine. The IH 886 was built to handle work in the field, feedlot and around the farm. The IH control center with heater, air conditioner and safety framer were standard. A 4 post ROPS operator station was optional. Ertl produced a 1/16 scale 886 with ROPS from 1977-1982. This model was packaged in a red and black Blue Print Replica box. The 886 was also offered by Ertl in a farm set box that became a barn that included a plow, disk and wagon.
