H&S

From its beginning, the dairy farm industry has always been H&S's most important market. In 1968, there were 14 manufacturers making forage boxes for the dairy industry, though today that number has dropped to five. In 1968, H&S was the newest manufacturer of that group, while today H&S sets the standard for the industry and dominates the market.  Manure spreaders are another major product H&S supplies to the dairy industry, and H&S manure spreaders have become a dominant player in this market as well. Indeed H&S manure spreaders are used on dairy farms as far away as Korea and Japan.  Ertl has just released a 1/64 H&S Forage Wagon and Manure Spreader.  You can learn more about H&S at http://www.hsmfgco.com.

New Holland

The new New Holland C&J System is out.  It is a 1/64 New Holland 5 piece set that includes: NH TG230 with spacer FWA and spacer rear duals, a 4 wheel chassis, liquid spreader attachment, liquid sprayer attachment and grain cart attachment. This is only way to get a TG230.

Ertl has re-released the New Holland disk.  The new disk is pictured on the left and the original NH disk is pictured on the left for a box comparison.  The original New Holland disk was released in 1997 on a New Holland parts blister card.  There are no differences beyond the boxes.

Trucks

Diec-Cast Promotions will introduce a new 1/16 scale Chevrolet C65 truck.  This model is a flat body model.  Collectors that as with other models a stake body and grain truck will follow.  The C65 is a popular farm truck and DCP has done an out standing job on this new 1/16 model.

Ertl has a new 1/64 pick up truck on the way.  The new truck will be a new style Dodge Ram Quad-Cab 2500.

Ertl has a new 1/64 Ford F-150 with an extended cab on the way, in addition to the Dodge Ram.
