November is farm toy month. The 28th National Farm Toy Show hosted by Toy Farmer was full of farm toy news from Ertl, Spec-Cast, Scale Models and DCP.
The biggest news from the National came in the 1/64 scale with a new 36 row John Deere corn planter from Spec-Cast. Another interesting item from Spec-Cast is a 1/16 Kinze 4wd.
Ertl hosted an open house in their show room previewing new John Deere, Case IH and New Holland toys. The new red I CaseIH Magnums and Steigers were a crowd pleaser.
Scale Models has a new line of purple Olivers on the way for AGCO dealers. The classic silver White is making a return too.
With the Christmas season only a month away I would like to ask each of our readers to donate a new in the package tractor to your local Toys for Tots program. Help spread Christmas cheer with our hobby with a 1/64, 1/32 or 1/16 model.
