Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of our readers. The December Farm Toy Report closes out the new toy news for 2005. This year brought new levels of detail and excitement to Precision, 1/16, 1/32 and 1/64 farm toys.
Ertl wowed in 2005 with new CaseIH and John Deere Key Precision tractors. These tractor models are so detailed that they have a replica key in the dash board. The IH 3588 2+2 and John Deere 3020 with removable #48 loader have become collectors favorites among the 2005 Key Precisions.
The 1/16 scale has had many advances this year. Spec-Cast's growing series of High Detail tractors and resin implements from AGCO, Case-New Holland and John Deere. Look for several new exciting announcements from Spec-Cast in 2006. Ertl increased its detail in 2006 with several nice 1/16 pieces including the Prestige John Deere 55 3 row corn combine, John Deere 4320 and '76 Case 1570.
The 1/32 scale is ever growing in North America. Ertl impressed collectors with nice pieces like the Oliver 2655 4wd John Deere 8330T and John Deere 535 moco. Die-Cast Promotions also released a super model in the highly detailed 8wd Versatile 1080 " Big Roy".

Ertl continued to expand its 1/64 line. The long awaited John Deere air drill was released in 2005 along with other great models like the John Deere 7720 combine, John Deere 4920 dry spreader, John Deere 8030 series tractors CaseIH 50,000th Steiger CaseIH MXU135 and Case-New Holland Swathers. Spec-Cast also had a good year in 1/64 with a new line of AGCO and CaseIH puller tractors.
