Bill Walters:: Hello

J.Hasert:: Hi Bill. Thank you for stopping by tonight.

Kade Nice: Bill, any plans for a JD 7720, 8820 or 9650 walker machine

Bill Walters: Nothing I can announce yet...

Nick Barden: Can you tell us what kind of tillage you have in the works now?

Bill Walters: We are in discussions with DMI, Flexi-coil and John Deere

David Sottong: Bill, I would like to see some more classic combines, like the 815 and the 95

Bill Walters: Thanks David.

Thomas Fick: Bill, Have you considered doing any Demco saddle spray tanks

Bill Walters: Thomas, no we have not, but that is a good idea. I will have to look into this.

Thomas Fick: It would make a welcome addition. Thanks Bill

Ryan Bruni

nk: Any older self-propelled choppers like a Field Queen, John Deere 5830 and New Holland 2100.

Bill Walters: Ryan, sorry no older SP choppers planned for 2002

Ryan Brunink: Any in the feature?

Zac Ruthenberg: Bill do you plan on making any 1/64 JD

 4440,4240,4640,4840...in a set?

Bill Walters: Zac, We are talking about the 40 series for a set. We'll see what happens.

Bill Walters: We will have to talk to John Deere.

Zac Ruthenberg: Thanks Bill it would be a dream come true!

Bill Walters: We will start shipping the 4000 series this week. I'm

interested in what everyone thinks of the tractors and their configurations.

Daniel Monahan: Any Impliments for older 4000 series and 06 series tractors?

Bill Walters: Sorry Daniel, nothing I can say at this time.

mark megan: Bill, will you continue the 4000 sets up through the 50 55 and 60 like the 4000 sets?

mark megan: 4430 4850? 4960?

Bill Walters: I can't tell yet, but I'm sure you'll be happy when you see it.

mark megan: grrr.....what can u tell us? Any thing?

Bill Walters: I'm sorry, but we have to announce any new products to the OEM

 dealers first

Bill Walters:  I will be able to release some new info in February

Bill Walters: If I give out information in a forum like this, we could lose our ability to do future projects.

Bill Walters: new projects. Obviously we have confidentiality agreements that allow us new items coming out.

ma

rk megan: ok

kjp800: any plans for any new holland stacker wagons?

kjp800: self proppelled or pull type

Bill Walters: I'm open to suggestions and comments always

Bill Walters: Again, we are talking with NH and Case IH about their future plans.

kjp800: ok, great

J.Hasert: Bill I think you will find SP choppers and the stack wagon tops on most 1/64 collectors lists

kjp800: ok, great

Bill Walters: I understand these units are high on lists.

We try to let OEMs know what is being requested.

Bill Walters: They also get requests from their different product areas

asking for replicas of their product.

Bill Walters: Ertl pays for all tooling, so they also listen to us and what we feel will sell the best. Obviously this is a business, and the OEMs have a vested interest in that they get royalties from sales, so they want to see us pick the right models and give the consumers/collectors what they want.

David Sottong: Bill, when is the IH golden Demonstrator sets coming out?

Bill Walters: David, this set will come out next year, but not in kit form. I'm thinking late Spring..

David Sottong: Is there any plans for a 1/16 IH prestige series combine

Bill Walters: David, we have another Prestige planned for 2002, but I can't tell you yet.

cody wolfe: How about a 6030 John Deere in 1/64

Bill Walters: Cody, sorry I can't say on the 6030. We are limited in the versions we can do from the 6030. I guess we could do both engine sizes, but we are limited

bigacres: Bill, What about an 86 series IH set like a 1086 1486 1586

 etc.....?

Bill Walters: Big Acres, good question. We'll see what happens.

bigacres: Thanks Bill that would be really great.

Bill Walters: Big Acres, we are looking at possibly doing a Case set next versus IH.

bigacres: what kind of Case set?

Bill Walters: You should know by now that I can't tell you.......

David Sottong: Bill are you going to do different variations of the 06 series set, like a 1206

Bill Walters: David, there will be other versions of 06 tractors, just can't say yet.

Farmer Dan: What do you have planned for the farm country sets? I like the hog buildings

Bill Walters: We are re-shuffling some sets for 2002, that will be introduced in Feburary

Bill Walters: You should see lower pricing and some sets that haven't been around in some time.

pioneer crop: Are you ever going to make 1/64 scale white tractors I know you guys made one.

Bill Walters: I wonder if there is enough demand for a 1/64th White to do one. What model do you want to see?

Bill Walters: Are you talking a modern AGCO-White or a vintage White?

pioneer crop: A modern AGCO White

Eric Keller: Bill, I think he is talking the new RT/DT series.

Bill Walters: We do not have permission from AGCO to do the new RT/DT units.

pioneer crop: Thanks for answering

joe in ct: What is the word on the 6020 series?? I see 8420 is already on the way.

Bill Walters: Be patient Joe, Rome wasn't built in a day.

joe in ct: no it was not:)

Bill Walters: In February I will be able to tell you more.

joe in ct: Good enough thanks

Bill Walters: Folks, I would love to tell you all the projects we have

 coming, but I can't.

Brian Helgeson: How about the case comfort king models before like a 930 row crop model.

Bill Walters: Western Special as a Precision. I'm assuming you're talking about 1/64th.

Brian Helgeson: yes

Brian Helgeson: Would that be a possibility in the future?

Bill Walters: Brian, yes, that would be a possibility.

Bill Walters: It seems 1/64 models are a popular topic tonight. What would all of you like to see produced in 1/64? What is on the top of your list?

Tom Wright: 1/64 HAYING EQUIPEMENT BIG BALERS - DISK BINDS- RAKES- CHOPPERS -BALE STACKERS

David Sottong: 1/64 IH 1206 wheatland

Allan in Ontario: big square balers and something for the JD comidity cart.

Bill Walters: DO I take it that most want to see vintage units versus modern units?

David Sottong: I like the new stuff but I love the vintage stuff

Rod Short: I prefer modern sets.
JT: Vintage tilliage, planters, drills and balers would be cool. Modern tillage equipment and big planters for the STX 375 and 9420 would be nice too.

KSmart: New Holland Stuff......tractors....combines......equipment

KSmart: Choppers.........Big planters........Cultivator

STX440Fargo: 1/64 Scale Steiger 1000 line - Puma, Bearcat, Cougar, Lion, Panther.

KSmart: Cotton Equipment

Bill Walters: On my last chat, everyone wanted planting and tillage

 equipment. Still true?

Tom Wright: TILLAGE EQUIPEMENT (CRUMBLERS)

Allan in Ontario: Yes.

KSmart: 24 row planters and bigger field cultivators.

J.Hasert: Bill I think many are eager to put those JD 4000's and IH o6's to work with vintage plows and disks.

Bill Walters: I hate to disappoint, but you gave me enough suggestions for 5 years worth

Bill Walters: How do I prioritize all of these?

Murray: Bill when is the 9520 coming out

Daneiel: Can we e-mail you Bill.

Bill Walters: There is a place to email suggestions and comments at

www.rcertl.com. I get all the emails that deal with farm replicas.

sam mcfarland: hi Bill any ideas on self propelled swathers or other air seeder carts any make or model.

Bill Walters: Sam, nothing I let you in on yet. Like I said earlier, we are in discussions

sam mcfarland: ok thanks Bill please keep those ideas in mind

Jim Kusnierczyk: Bill, I would like to see a 1/16 Prestige JD 4wd (7520 or 8020)

Bill Walters: Thanks Jim, these are good suggestions.

Bill Walters: Do you a choice between the two you mention?

Jim Kusnierczyk: Either one would be nice. But a 7520 would be great.

Tom Wright: Bill: SOMTHING FOR THE COMODITY CART (AIR DRILL

Bill Walters: Unfortunately we get so many suggestions, we can never do them all. We are in talks with JD on what we should do next for the

 Commodity Cart.

Tyler Hall: Bill: any plans for a bigger M-M like a G-1050 or 70s and 80s Massey Combines? lLike a 750 or 850?

Bill Walters: Tyler, they have been requested many times. Just a matter of what priority we make them in our list. They are good units as well.

Tyler Hall: Thank you for answering Bill.... I understand that.

Daniel Monahan: bottom line for toy makers is supply and demand.

Bill Walters: You are correct Dan...

Murray: Bill any plans for a John Deere 9520?

Bill Walters: Murray, hold tight on the 9520, I think you will like what our plan is.
