Home Up Plow Field Cultivator Drills The Cyclo Air Planter

International 10 Grain Drill

The International 10 Grain Drill was introduced in 1967. 10  Grain Drills were generally sold in areas where annual rainfall was adequate to raise and produce crops on a yearly basis. They were used to drill cereal grains, legumes and forages. Seedbeds are normally prepared to accept the drill and furrow openers. Minimal down pressure at the press wheels is required for good seed-to-soil contact. Plain grain or combination grain/fertilizer seed boxes were available to match the customer's needs.  Ertl offered a 1/16 scale 10 drill from 1967 through 1978. Today the 10 drill will sell for around $100.
