There was no other tractor like the PANTHER 1000. New for 1984 the 1000
series was one of the most advanced 4wds to date. The 400 hp CP-1400
PANTHER with 12-speed full powershift transmission, on-board computer, and
new Safari Cab with improved visibility was what farmers were looking for in 4wd power market. Scale Models has produced a 1/16 and 1/64 Panther CP-1400 since 1984.
