Brandon Casebier

Brandon started collecting farm toys when he was 8 years old.   It was the new ERTL Country Farm Play Sets that sparked his interest in collecting.  Brandon only collects 1/64 models because of the enjoyment he finds with them. Brandon likes to build intricate displays with as much realism as possible. 1/16 scale models just take up to much space for detailed model farms according to Brandon.  For Brandon's purposes 1/64 scale toys allow many more options. In addition to collecting 1/64 toys and building displays, Brandon collects any thing John Deere.  Brandon has John Deere signs, glasses, buckets, trash cans, lamps and other pieces.  His favorite item to collect outside of 1/64 farm toys is farm equipment brochures.  Brandon's favorite part of the hobby is building displays and he hopes to enter the National Farm Toy Show Display Contest someday. From the looks of Brandon's current display he is well on his way.

Brandon collects  John Deere memorabilia, 1/64 farm toys and 1/64 items to build displays.  Brandon built the 1/64 100x200 barn above which holds quite a few John Deere items.

Here is a sneak peak at Brandon's new display. The detail in the field is very good with trash mixed into the dirt.  Brandon likes detail and shows with the 500 round bales packed into his shed.
