Andre Phillips
Andre has out done his past two combines with a TR 99. Ertl never offered a new Holland TR 99 so Andre thought why not try it out. He added all the necessary details with hand rails and flood lights. The cab is life like with detail inside and out. Its clear windows are a real plus. The hardest part for Andre was creating the decals. He had hand cut the tri-color swoosh decal piece by piece in order to make it swoop upwards. That is allot of tiny decals.
Andre Phillps has followed his very nice IH 1480 with a CaseIH 2188. Andre added a full detail cab with an interior, clear windows, hand rails, lights and mirrors. The unloading auger has extension and support cylinders. Notice the detailed grain head with custom built guards, guides and sickles. The body is all decked handrails and other key details.
IH 1480
If there was a Precision 1/64 class this International Harvester 1480 made by Andre Phillips would be it. Andre customized an Ertl 1660body adding as much detail as he could. The cab has so much detail that you could almost climb in and start cutting corn with with classic combine. There is even a windshield wiper. The combine also handrails, detailed engine compartment top with a chrome smoke stack, rear trash whippers guards, rwa tires and side mounted radiator fan. This is a fitting tribute to commemorate the Axial-Flow Combines 25th Anniversary.
