Allis-Chalmers 4wd Power
Sharp 440 and Toy Farmer 440 Allis-Chalmers returned to the 4wd market in 1973 by contracting with the Steiger Company to sell their Bearcat I model as the AC 440. The 440 was a V-8 powered 218 hp model. The first models came with white cabs and later models were revised to orange. The 440 sold for $38,179.00 new . David Sharp built a 1/16 440. Ertl released a 1/32 scale model in December of 2000 in its Toy Farmer Steiger Heritage series.
