New AGCO Tractors Ready to Rumble for 2002
1/16 Scale AGCO DT225 by Scale Models
1/64 Scale AGCO DT200 and DT 225 by Ertl AGCO views its new tractors as an opportunity to push the company's brand name forward and combine two tractor lines into one. The company uses its Allis Chalmers heritage for the tractor's color scheme. To balance the family tree, the tractors draw on the White heritage by being outfitted with Cummins diesel engines and a silver emphasis in the tractor decal. The machines are available in three series, spanning 70 PTO hp to 225 PTO hp. The model number corresponds with the PTO horsepower of the tractor. The LT series, built in an AGCO factory in Coventry, England, provides the LT70 and LT85. The RT series brings the RT95, RT115, RT130 and RT145. On the high horsepower end, the DT series includes the DT160, DT180, DT200 and DT225. Both the RT and DT tractors are manufactured at AGCO's Beauvais, France, factory. All AGCO Allis and White dealers will offer the new tractors. Scale Models released the 1/16 scale DT 225 in October 2001. In July 2002 Ertl released a 1/64 AGCO DT200 with fwa and a DT225 with fwa and duals.
