Home Up A4T-1600 G-1350 G-750 Harvestor Combine

The first Minneapolis-Moline 4wd the A4T-1400 was introduced in 1969 with production ending in 1970.  It used the D504 A-6 Diesel engine as used in the G1050.  The engine had 504 cubic inch displacement.   Not very  many 1400's were made.  According to Brian Ruke's MM book,  247 Model A4T-1400s were made.   In 1970, MM replaced the 1400 with the 1600.   The 1600 used the D585A-6 engine.  Not only was the 1600 available with diesel, but also in LP.  The LP engine used a 504B-6 with 4.625 x 5 inch bore and stroke which produced 169  horsepower.  The 1600 was also sold as the Oliver 2655 4wd.   White also sold the MM A4T Tractors as the "Plainsman" series.  There were the same except for the paint scheme and lettering.   1972 was the last year of production for the A4T-1600. In 2001 Scale Models offered a 1/64 A4T-1600 Farm Show edition. Several 1/16 variations of the A4T-1600 and 1400 have been scratch built by custom builders.
