John Deere on Track for 2000

In September of 1999 John Deere debuted their first 4wds on rubber tracks.
Since Caterpillar first released a rubber tracked 4wd in 1986 John Deere and
CaseIH have been entering the tracked tractor market as well. John Deere
first offered its 8000 series 2wd tractors as 8000T models in 1997. The 4wd
version was tested on the 8770 4wd body as seen here. The 9000Ts have 4
rollers compared to the smaller 8000Ts. The 360 hp 9300T and 425 hp 9400T
are the newest 4wds in the Long Green Line.
