New for 1982

New for 1982 was the updated 60-series 2+2 models. There were only minor
changes made on the 2+2's including a cosmetic change with a change to a red
IH "Command Cab." The cabs came in two styles: a standard red interior or a wood
velour "Western Style." The 1/64 6388 pictured here is equipped with non-factory
duals and is rated at 130 hp. Duals were not available or recommended for
2+2 models by IH until the Super 70 models with Tri-Six Shifting, yet many
farmers have added them to older models. Ertl offered a 1/64 6388, a 1/32 Radio Controlled 6388 and a 1/16 6388 from 1982-1985.
