Case 94 Series: Exclusive 4-Way-Steering

 For large farms the Case 4894 with its 300 hp engine was a perfect fit. The "hump" in the 4894 hood set it apart from other 94 series Case 4wd and it there was to hide the air cleaner.
 Exclusive four-way-selective steering with front wheels only, rear wheels
 only or switch anytime to automatic all wheel coordinated steering, or
 diagonal crab steer made Case 94 4wds, (4494 174 hp, 4694 219 hp, 4894 300
 hp and 4994 400 hp) very versatile tractors in the field and on the farm.
 They were popular in the hills of Washington States wheat fields with
 their many steering options. In 1985 the case 4894 and other 94 series
 models were changed from their black and white Case coloring to Harvester
 red under the Case International name plate. Ertl offered a 1/32 Case 4894 from 1984-1985. In 1985 the 4894 was painted Harvester Red and sold as a Case International toy.  Gunning now part of C&D Models produced a 1/64 4894 in the mid-1980's.
