Advanced Design for the 90's

 



This 1/64 toy Case 4890 is pictured pulling a 30 foot model Case
field cultivator. In 1979 the Case 4890 rated at 253 hp was the largest of
the new 90 series tractors. The advanced design of Case 90 series 4wds
(4490 174 hp, 4690 219 hp, 4890 253 hp) included exclusive 4-way solid state
selective steering, fingertip steering selection and new comfort in the
Silent Guardian cab.  Ertl produced a 1/32 scale 4890 from 1982 to 1984. NZG offered a 1/40 scale 4890 in 1979. J&J Toys produced a 1/64 4890 in the mid-1990's.
