2470 Traction King

When Case first introduced the 1200 4wd tractor in 1964, the concept was not an immediate success. It was not until 1972 when four-wheel-drive power became the fastest growing segment of the North America tractor market. J.I. Case was there to meet the demand with the new 174 hp model 2470 4wd which incorporated the cab and platform as an integral unit with 70 series styling.   NZG in West-Germany made a 1/40 scale 2470 in 1975.  Gunning now part of C&D Models produced a desert tan 1/64 2470 in the mid-1980's.
