1993 C&D Models TK 1470 with 1968 styling

In January of 1968 the Case 1470 was quietly introduced and was reintroduced
with the rest of the 70 series in August 1969. It replaced the 1200, Case's
first 4wd introduced in 1965. The 1470 was the first Case model to use the
new 504-cubic inch turbo charged open chamber engine at 144 horsepower. The 1470 did not have the isolated platform or Case cab. The 1968 TK 1470 had the same decal styling as the smaller row crop 30 series Comfort Kings using the Old Abe Eagle logo.  In 1970 the 1470 TK decals upgraded along with the new Agri-Kings using the new Case track logo. The Traction King
designation remained with Case four-wheel drive models through the 2870 in
model year 1978. The TK 1470 was also produced as a black Knight
Demonstrator model. C&D Models produced an open station TK 1470 from 1994-1997. Ertl produced a TK 1470 with a cab and real action crab steering from 1997 to the present. Ertl also offered a collectors edition Black Knight TK 1470 in 1997 with dual wheels. In 2002 Ertl introduced a Classic Decal TK 1470 with duals.
